Ridgecrest Village is looking for an experienced Receptionist who will be the first contact when residents, families and visitors enter our Assisted Living facility.
Job Overview: Serves as receptionist in assisted living unit and provides clerical support for Director of Assisted Living. General Responsibilities: Serves as the first point of contact for inquiries and directs to appropriate person.
Greets and assists visitors and families.
Schedules residents appointments and transportation.
Completes closing paperwork for new residents moving in.
Promotes positive Oakwood and community relations.
Provides routine information and refers requests to proper sources.
Answers and operates telephone courteously and efficiently.
Forwards information and messages to appropriate parties.
Handles incoming and outgoing business and resident mail.
Copying, filing and other clerical duties.
Assists with ordering medical supplies to have on hand for residents.
Possess excellent communication skills, highly organized and able to multi-task.

Physical Requirements:
Strength to transfer supplies weighing a maximum of 20 lbs from floor to 40-inch countertop.
Able to use hands for proper functioning of telephone and radio systems and equipment.
Able to stand, walk, squat, bend to floor and twist.
Working Conditions (may add additional conditions specific to defined work location):
Performs work in a customary office and resident care environment where there is occasional exposure to biohazards and noise and rare exposure to toxic chemicals.
Safety Requirements:
All employees are expected to respond to emergency situations involving the safety of residents, other employees, and the facility. This includes the ability to assist with a possible evacuation of residents.
